CHARTER REGISTRATION INCREASES BY 10,4%

The Spanish nautical market has registered an increase in the registration of recreational boats this year. Between January and July, a total of 4.674 boats have been registered, being jet skis and boats up to six meters in length the ones that have increased the most during this period.
Of the total number of registrations, 2.908 correspond to boats for private use (62.2%) and 1.766 to boats for rental (37.8%).
The ANEN pleasure boat market report has highlighted that the charter sector continues to grow, making it a holiday option with great growth potential. Jordi Carrasco, general director of ANEN, has indicated that the companies that offer nautical activities and water sports facilities have been very active during the nautical season.

The smaller boats have been those that have experienced the greatest growth in the nautical market so far this year, with an increase of 13.2% in registrations and a market share of 72.2%. On the other hand, jet skis and folding inflatable boats have been the types of boats that have experienced the greatest growth in registrations, with 69.5% and 32%, respectively.
In summary, the Spanish nautical market is in a stage of growth in recreational boat registrations, with jet skis and smaller boats being the most in demand.
